Free Claude skills:
Test them in Cinema Studio:
Laundromat Project Open-Sourced:
AI is a tool, not the brain. Period.
This is my first real breakdown of Seedance 2.5, what it can actually do, what it actually costs, and the updated Cinema Director v3 skill I built to prompt for it. I take my time with new models before I post about them, because I’d rather hand you something that works than something that’s fast.
The full CTRL laundromat project is open source and public in Cinema Studio (link to come). Every generation, including the failed ones. Go look at how few clips it actually took to make.
What I cover:
→ Spatial geometry. The reason your character teleports between washing machines every generation. Locking the scene into one consistent space, without leaning on a start frame that makes everything look plastic.
→ Extend Video. Push a clip out beyond 30 seconds, forward OR backward. Drop the clip into Claude, have it read every frame, then write the continuation prompt.
→ Scene plate first, always. I’ve been using Seedream 5.0 Pro for scene plates lately — overexposure, halation, the glow around hot light sources. Still using Nano Banana Pro for faces. Better input in, better output out.
→ Top-load the prompt. Shot count, total runtime, per-shot beats, style, texture — all of it at the very top, because that’s what the model actually holds onto. If music is bleeding into your 2.5 generations, try putting NO MUSIC WHATSOEVER or NO BGM (Background Music) at the very top and let me know if it fixes it.
→ Never open on a static first frame. Characters should already be in motion when the shot starts.
→ Physics are built into the skill now. How wings carry weight, what it takes to get something massive off the ground, how bodies move through a frame. You are the director.. know which side of frame your character enters from, or you’re going to fight failed generations all night.
Seedance 2.5 is running unlimited on Higgsfield right now for new users. Slower, one at a time, but free instead of ~250 credits a pop. Test the skill on it, it costs you nothing but patience!
Now the part nobody wants to say out loud: AI videos cost money. Duh. That whole laundromat project ran me about 800 credits in video generations which runs you up $32 USD. Higgsfield credit structure is roughly $0.04 a credit. Every platform charges differently, every model prices differently, and there’s no one-size-fits-all. What I can do is help you spend less of it on generations you’re going to throw away. That’s what the skills are for. That’s what this channel is for.
Failed generations aren’t failures. They’re takes. Pull the good three seconds out of each one and cut them together, same as you would on set!
The stack:
Claude Skills (prompting) → Seedream 5.0 Pro (scene plates) → Nano Banana Pro (faces, outfits, character sheets) → Seedance 2.5 (video) → Higgsfield Cinema Studio
Disclosure: this video is sponsored by Higgsfield and helps put food on my table. But the skills are free and always will be. No course, no upsell, no Patreon. Take them, tweak them, make them yours. Mine encode how I shoot. Yours should encode how you shoot.
27K??? We’re almost at 30 and I still don’t totally know what to say about that. We started with music videos and there’s so much more in store.
