Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has issued a major warning regarding AI. He states that Artificial Intelligence is powerful enough to cause the deaths of billions of people if it falls into the hands of those with malicious intent. Gates made this statement while appearing on the NBC program *Meet the Press*. He clearly asserts that governments should not rely solely on tech companies to monitor AI; instead, the US should enact legislation to regulate it. Speaking to NBC, Gates noted that AI is certainly powerful enough to trigger events resulting in mass casualties on a scale of billions. While reaching that extreme level of impact may be difficult, the power derived from individuals with malicious intent using the latest AI tools creates a weapon of unprecedented potency.
माक्रोसॉफ्ट के सह-संस्थापक बिल गेट्स ने AI को लेकर एक बहुत बड़ी चेतावनी दी है. बिल गेट्स का कहना है कि Artificial Intelligence इतना ताकतवर है कि यह अरबों लोगों की मौत का कारण बन सकता है. अगर यह गलत इरादा रखने वाले लोगों के हाथों में पड़ जाए. बता दें कि बिल गेट्स ने यह बयान अमेरिकी न्यूज़ एजेंसी NBC के शो Meet The Press में दिया है. बिल गेट्स का साफ कहना है कि सरकार को AI पर निगरानी रखने के लिए सिर्फ टेक कंपनियों के ऊपर निर्भर नहीं रहना चाहिए, अमेरिका को AI को नियमित करने के लिए एक कानून पास करना चाहिए. NBC से बात करते हुए बिल गेट्स ने कहा कि AI निश्चित रूप से इतना शक्तिशाली है कि वह ऐसी घटनाएं करवा सकता है, जिनसे अरबों लोगों की मौत हो सकती है. भले ही 100% तक पहुँचना काफी मुश्किल है, लेकिन बुरे इरादे वाले लोगों द्वारा लेटेस्ट AI टूल्स का इस्तेमाल करने से जो ताकत बनती है, वैसा शक्तिशाली हथियार पहले कभी नहीं रहा.
