Gemini Spark Tutorial for Beginners (Google’s New AI Agent)

Google just rolled out a redesign that moves Spark into the main Gemini app. Instead of the Spark toggle, you’ll see Chat and Task buttons under the prompt box – Task is Spark. How to use Gemini Spark. Gemini Spark is Google’s new AI agent, and it can work through tasks in your Gmail, Calendar, and Drive even after you close your laptop. In this video, I will show you step by step how to set up tasks, schedules, and skills so Spark handles the busywork for you.

We start with the difference between regular Gemini chat and Spark, what you need to get access, and how to turn on connected apps like Google Workspace. Then we run a real inbox task, see how Spark asks for your approval before it sends or changes anything, and put a daily morning brief on a schedule. You will also learn how to build a skill that drafts email replies the way you like them, have Spark build spreadsheets and PDFs straight from your inbox, and pick up a few safety habits so you stay in control.
