We have 3 big updates related to GPT-5.6 public release, Gemini 3.5 Pro’s new leaks, and the Deepseek’s DSpark price optimizer.
I explain what are the chances of Open AI releasing GPT-5.6 for public use, as there are some solid signals, including 50% price reduction of ChatGPT Plus plan. We also go through the context window rumours, with some reports suggesting a substantially smaller window in contrast to the proposed 1 Million token window.
Then I tell what Google is doing with Gemini 3.5 Pro, as they have reportedly scrapped the Gemini 2.5 Pro base variant for training, and a completely new model is being trained for the upgrade. We also discuss the Gemini 4 Flash leak, as some A/B testing has been reported with this new variant, hinting to a much faster general purpose model from Google.
After that I describe what is Deepseek DSpark, and how it reduces the cost of accessing their most capable models, ranging from a 50% to 80% reduction across Deepseek V4 Flash and V4 Pro variants.
Finally, based on my 20 years of experience in AI and Computational Intelligence, I give my own honest opinion, which should be considered before making any final decision on these updates.
